The Validoc “Label” module for AS/400 system ( iSeries – IBM i ) allows you to print labels on a thermal or direct thermal printer.
Using Validoc’s print setup tools, lines, boxes, logos and other graphics elements can be inserted in the print.
It is possible to indicate which fields, of the AS/400 print, must become barcodes.
Barcode can be one (3 di 9, Code128, Ean13, etc.) or two dimensional (QR Code, Data Matrix, etc.).
The number of copies is controlled by the AS/400 copies parameter.
Therefore, starting from an AS/400 text spool, containing the variable data of the label, the label with graphic elements and barcode is printed directly on the thermal printers.
The “Label” module prints labels in image format. This allows it to be compatible with all types of thermal printers.
For each label, it is also possible to produce a PDF file with the image of the label (to be sent to customers/suppliers if necessary).
