Validoc’s PRINTING module is able to add graphic layouts to your AS/400 (iSeries – System i – IBM i) prints, solving the problem of replacing the pre-printed forms with prints on common A4 paper on laser printer.
PRINTING manages your complexities of multi-copy printing of invoices, orders, ddt, production documents and any other business document produced by your AS400.
Graphic layouts, once created using the Graphic Designer of Validoc or any graphic software in Windows (Corel Draw, Excel, Word, etc.), are imported to the AS/400 system on which the print to be edited resides and then matched to it.
PRINTING does not waste the CPU of your AS/400 by constantly scanning print queues, but has advanced mechanisms to activate ONLY for the processing time of the print.
PRINTING is able to remap your spool and can define a different number of component lines in the detail of the “initial” print, and also adds the indication “Pag. n of N”.
You can differentiate these functions for different copies of the print.
PRINTING is able to convert the format of the characters present in the print, changing its style, size (LPI and CPI) and font family; it can operate on the entire spool or on one or more portions of it by setting the operations to be performed directly from AS/400 or through the Graphic Designer.
PRINTING is able to print a wide range of Barcodes on laser printers.
