Validoc’s 2D Barcode module allows you to insert two-dimensional barcodes (italian version) in documents created from AS/400 prints (iseries – IBM i) via other Validoc modules.
Features of 2D barcodes
Two-dimensional barcodes are particular types of barcodes that can incorporate a large amount of information.
While one-dimensional barcodes rarely contain more than 10/15 characters to avoid excessive size, two-dimensional barcodes can contain thousands of characters while maintaining a reasonable footprint.
Due to their technical structure, they can also have remarkable reading retrieval capabilities in case of errors caused by dirt, sun exposure, paper breakage, stains, etc.
Types of 2D barcodes
The Validoc 2D Barcode module allows you to print five types of barcodes:

For each of these types, you can manage parameters such as size, rotation, error levels, and more.
To generate and manage them, programming activities are not necessary; everything takes place through selections or guided paths.
